List of Sunscreen Agents (UV Filters) in the U.S.

As of this writing (2014), there are currently 17 sunscreen agents (UV filters) approved for use in the U.S.

But of these 17, six ingredients are rarely used and one ingredient (ecamsule) is exclusive to L’Oreal.
