Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

A water-activated powder exfoliant that works like a scrub. It comes in the form of a dry rice powder. When wet, it becomes a foamy paste with a mild granular texture. It is very gentle. The particles are so small, they’re not abrasive.

This exfoliant contains Salicylic Acid, which helps to keep pores clear and minimize blackheads, and Papain (papaya enzyme).

It’s gentle enough to use every other day if you have oily or combination skin, or are prone to blackheads. If you have severe acne, then you should avoid using a scrub like this, which will aggravate lesions. A cream or clay based exfoliant is better for acne.

I use this exfoliant in the summer (a few times a week), or on my nose in the winter (as needed).

Key ingredients: rice bran powder, papain (papaya enzyme), salicylic acid, licorice.
