VITAMIN C REMINDER – Your skin needs 2 sources of Vitamin C:
1. DIETARY – what you eat
2. TOPICAL – what you put on your skin
Eating Vitamin C rich foods will keep your skin healthy (your body needs it to make collagen).
But dietary sources aren’t enough to block the MANY free radicals that attack your skin during the day. (UV and pollution are huge sources of free radicals.)
So you need to use skincare products that can put Vitamin C INTO YOUR SKIN.
SKIN TIPS:
1. Prepare your skin for a day full of free radicals –> In the MORNING, apply a serum or moisturizer that has Vitamin C.
2. Replace the Vitamin C that has been lost after a long day –> At NIGHT, apply something with Vitamin C again.
3. Eat Vitamin C foods throughout the day. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and doesn’t last. Unlike oil-soluble vitamins, they do not get stored in the body. So you need to replenish your Vitamin C reserves often for OPTIMAL skin health.
