The DECOLLETE (also called the DECOLLETAGE) is the upper chest area below your neck and above the breasts. The skin here gets sun damaged easily.
Decollete sun damage shows up anytime, but really starts to show a lot more starting in your 40’s (when everything starts to break down 🙂
Want to avoid the brown spots, darker pigmentation, rough skin, and wrinkles later?
1st thing to do – Wear #sunscreen (it’s easy to forget this area)
2nd thing to do – Exfoliate with AHA or enzyme cleansers & lotions.
These chemical exfoliants are better than loofahs or brushes because they exfoliate more. Some AHA acids are brightening too (lactic, mandelic, and azelaic are good for brightening).
