Some of you ask me for budget friendly skincare recommendations. So today’s post is about where to look.
Skincare can get expensive, and prices are skyrocketing today. But if you’re willing to be a little adventurous, you can find great products that won’t break the bank.
These are all Korean brands. Often referred to as kbeauty.
Many of these brands offer great quality at affordable prices. For example, each item here is less than $30. Many are much less. I’m always stunned when I see a kbeauty eye cream or moisturizer for $15 or less.
With Korean skincare, you get department store quality at drugstore prices. In cute packaging too.
For powerful solutions to skin problems or aging, I prefer to use professional brands. But for basic skin maintenance, I think kbeauty offers great options.
If you have OILY SKIN and are looking for sunscreens or BB creams with LIGHT, elegant, non-shiny textures, this is where you should look. Japanese sunscreens are just as good too. Both have made the ordeal of wearing sunscreens so much less disagreeable.
Shop on kbeauty sites that ship from S. Korea. They offer the best pricing and biggest selections. The translations are often skimpy or poor, but navigating these sites is manageable. Plus they give tons of free samples.
Personally, I don’t mind taking risks on not knowing exactly what I am buying because quite often, the product quality is very good, the prices are low, and it’s fun to discover something I might never choose on my own.
Some sites that I like: Jolse, Koreadepart, TesterKorea, Imomoko (offers Japanese and Taiwanese skincare too). But there are many, many more! Just google it.
In case shipping fees are a concern, here are some sites that offer free shipping: Jolse, Twofacemall, BeautyNetKorea, W2Beauty.
