If I have sunscreen‬ samples, I slip one into a makeup bag. In case I find myself needing sunscreen unexpectedly.

It’s like lip balm. I never leave home without something to moisturize my lips when they get dry. If you put sunscreen in your bag, you won’t be caught without it.

Usually, I end up using the sunscreen on my hands when I’m out and about. For example, it’s good to apply sunscreen after you wash your hands if you know you will be outdoors soon. I wash my hands many times during the day. So if I apply sunscreen in the morning, it’s immediately gone the first time I wash my hands.

You can leave a tube or bottle of sunscreen in your car. But I don’t recommend it if the temperature is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat degrades all skincare products, and it will decrease the efficacy of a sunscreen and potentially make it separate.

A car can get really hot in the summer (it retains heat). So I don’t leave sunscreen in my car. Instead, I prefer to carry sunscreen with me in my bag.
