Anti Inflammatory Ingredients

This is a list of anti-inflammatory ingredients that can reduce inflammation. As you’ll notice, most of these are derived from plants (botanicals). This is not a complete list, as there are so many plants sources (especially new ones that are being discovered). But these ingredients tend to be the most common ones found in skin care products.

The most common are: aloe, arnica, chamomile, green tea, licorice, milk thistle, mugwort, oat, and willowherb.

Some of these ingredients also act as anti-irritants (soothing).

Try to incorporate at least one of these anti-inflammatory ingredients in your daily skin care regimen.

Chronic inflammation is a leading cause of aging. And it affects everyone. Because chronic inflammation is ongoing, it is a good idea to tackle it daily.
