Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion

This is my go-to acne spot treatment product. It is designed to treat cystic acne. But I use it whenever I get a pimple. It works very well healing a new lesion *quickly* – within a day or two, the size of a pimple decreases noticeably.

This formula contains anti-inflammatory ingredients, which are crucial for healing acne and comedones. This formula does an excellent job at reducing inflammation, the main cause of a cyst forming. I have found this product far more effective in stopping a budding pimple than many products that focus on Benzoyl Peroxide, Sulfur, or Salicylic Acid.

Apply this as soon as you see a pimple forming. It will help prevent it from getting bigger by keeping the inflammation in check.

Only one small drawback – the texture is a runny liquid. Messy application for just a few spots. Fine if you’re treating a large area of the face.
