MD Solar Sciences Mineral Creme SPF 50
This is a mineral silicone-based sunscreen (unusual) with 17% Zinc Oxide. That’s a very high concentration. Until recently, Zinc Oxide at this concentration felt heavy. But today’s sunscreens are so much lighter. Like this one. It’s so light, it doesn’t feel like you have anything on your skin. It absorbs right in. Feels great.
This sunscreen is suitable for any skin type, including oily skin (it won’t clog pores). It’s especially good for sensitive skin since the silicone protects the skin barrier.
If you wear makeup, this sunscreen can serve as your primer too. (Silicone is the ingredient used in many makeup primers.)
