Mangoes are a rich source of Vitamin A and Beta Carotene (a precursor to Vitamin A).
In skincare, Vitamin A is one of the main weapons against aging. The acidic form of Vitamin, tretinoin (also known as retinoic acid), is able to reverse the signs of aging, including wrinkles, spots, and rough texture. Retin-A is a popular prescription brand of tretinoin.
Retinol is another form of Vitamin A. It’s not as potent as tretinoin, but it’s more gentle on skin. This is the kind that you see in many serums and moisturizers. I use the retinol form (not tretinoin) on my skin.
